Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced new legislation to tackle online trolling – meaning people might be able to unmask anonymous and defamatory users who attack them while hiding their own identity.

Mr Morrison said the online world shouldn’t be a wild west where bigots and trolls can anonymously harm and hurt people.

Bully Zero co-founder Ali Halkic told Sky News Australia the foundation has been working on “educating, not just students, but parents that these things are happening.”
