New South Wales is “doing it pretty well” as it prepares for a further easing of restrictions ahead of Christmas, says Media Stable Managing Director Nic Hayes.
The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting QR codes, vaccination certificates and masks will be abandoned in restaurants and retail settings in time for Christmas.
“Probably the rest of the country could probably follow their lead,” Mr Hayes told Sky News host Jenna Clarke.
“Victoria most definitely could follow their lead.
“It’s great news for the News South Wales people.
“They’ve gone through fairly hard times and to be able to do that just before Christmas is awesome.”
