Minister for Indigenous Australians Ken Wyatt says he is optimistic about remote communities making the decision to come forward for vaccination.

This comes following an outbreak in the Northern Territory, which has authorities concerned.

“We have been doing door-to-door; we have been out in those communities talking to people,” Mr Wyatt told Sky News Australia.

“Right across the territory, the combined efforts of Minister Hunt, Minister Natasha Fyles and the chief minister, along with all of our organisations, are working steadfastly to increase the vaccination rates to protect our people.”
