South Australia’s new Attorney-General will be sworn in today after deputy premier Vickie Chapman stood down from her ministerial portfolios due to a continuing investigation into potential conflicts of interest.

Premier Steven Marshall reluctantly accepted her resignation, and says her replacement will be announced within a week.

“I look forward to the conclusion of the inquiry and welcoming her back into Cabinet soon,” Mr Marshall said.
