Social Services Minister Anne Ruston says it’s “extraordinary” the Labor Party would “lie and scare pensioners for their own selfish gain” by claiming the Morrison government wants to force them onto the cashless debit card system.

“It is absolutely nothing more than a flat out lie,” she told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“I will say it all day everyday – this government never has, doesn’t and never will force aged pensioners onto the cashless debit card.”
