In a major step towards the national reopening plan, the government will allow more than 200,000 visa holders to enter the country.

Students, economic migrants and refugees will be allowed into Australia – as part of the Coalition’s focus on skilled migration.

The nation reached a vaccine milestone on Sunday – pushing above the 85 per cent double dose target.

It means the Prime Minister can further ease international border restrictions and move closer to resuming overseas travel.
