One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson says she believes the Morrison government’s religious freedom bill “won’t be up for the vote” by the end of the year.

Ms Hanson told Sky News host Sharri Markson the bill will likely be subjected to a Senate committee inquiry.

“It’s come up against a lot of barriers, there’s still a lot of things they’re trying to iron out with the religious organisations that are not happy with what’s in some of this bill,” she said

“So until you get it basically right … why put it up?

“What I see over this period of time is these bills are raced through, they’re not properly addressed and then we’re band aiding all the time.

“Get it right before we pass it.”
