Public health orders exist and are used in the aged care and disability sector – but apart from that government should not be saying who can have a cup of coffee in Brisbane, according to Employment Minister Stuart Robert.

Mr Robert echoed the words of Prime Minister Scott Morrison who said Queenslanders should be allowed to “get a cup of coffee in Brisbane regardless of whether you’ve had a vaccine or not” once the state reaches 80 per cent double dose vaccination.

“Businesses will always have the right to determine who comes into their venues,” Mr Robert said.

“Let business determine their own risks and let’s get government out of people’s lives.”
