South Australia Premier Steven Marshall says the vaccination check in will go live on November 23, once the borders open up to the rest of the country.
“There are thousands and thousands of vaccination appointments which are available today,” Mr Marshall said at a media conference on Friday.
“My strong message to all South Australians is that the border is opening on Tuesday next week.
“The best of thing that you can do for yourself, for your family, for your workplace, for your entire state, is to go and have that vaccination. It’s safe, it’s effective, it’s very quick, convenient and it will protect our entire state.
“We also next week on the 23rd will have vax check available, vax check is when you use your QR code check in, you will also be able to demonstrate your vaccination status; that will go live as of next week and so will HealthCheck.
“You may be required to monitor your health when you come into South Australia, this will all be contained with the information that comes back to you after you complete your entry checks.”
