Liberal Party Vice President Teena McQueen says parents are “very concerned” about the “rubbish” which their kids are being taught at school.
It comes as former prime minister Tony Abbott has called on “quiet” Australians to speak up, and for political leaders to become cultural warriors who will fight against “toxic” themes in education.
“As usual, he’s a hundred per cent right,” Ms McQueen told Sky News host Cory Bernardi.
“We need someone like Tony to lead this fight.
“We do need to wake up and fight.”
