A moving service at Melbourne’s Shrine of Remembrance has been held to commemorate Remembrance Day.

A crowd of 3,800 people was allowed at the event.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews were in attendance, laying wreaths to mark the day.

This morning Mr Morrison also attended a breakfast at Doncaster RSL where he served up meals to veterans.
