A man has been shot dead by New South Wales Police in Sydney’s north-west.

Just after 11 am – officers arrived at a house in Seven Hills to conduct inquiries in relation to an outstanding warrant.

The man was shot by police following a physical confrontation.

Officers conducted CPR until paramedics arrived – but the man could not be revived.

A crime scene has been established and inquiries are underway.
