Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce says Australia is an “honourable place” when it comes to climate targets because “we actually abide by them”.
“So we’ve got to be very careful what we say,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“And that is why we have met every target that we’ve set.
“But we will always make sure that we look after the Australian people.
“Forget about Glasgow, we’re making sure we don’t put the people in Gladstone out of a job.”
