Sky News host Chris Kenny says the left side of politics, and therefore most of the media, like to frame Scott Morrison as “loose with the truth”.
This comes after French President Emmanuel Macron was asked by Australian journalists whether Mr Morrison had lied to him when cancelling the Naval Group’s submarines contract at the conclusion of the G20 summit in Rome on Sunday.
“I don’t think, I know,” Mr Macron said.
“So Macron has confirmed their biases. Morrison himself was forced into a denial,” Mr Kenny said.
“In all these disputes the left of centre media in Australia tends to take the other country’s side. Very seldom do they side with their own country.”
