Former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has told the ICAC the Riverina Conservatorium project had community support.

Ms Berejiklian is being investigated by the Independent Commission Against Corruption into whether she breached public trust while in a secret relationship with former Wagga Wagga MP Daryl Maguire.

The former premier has fronted ICAC on her second day at the hearings to provide evidence in front of the commission.

ICAC is probing whether grant funding for the Riverina Conservatorium of Music was either promised or rewarded.

“There could have been others as well. I suspect those interested in arts and culture and relevant ministers would have had an interest as well,” Ms Berejiklian said.

“We had a whole program of arts and culture and music halls across the state.

“I don’t think it would be limited to just one person; I feel others would have supported this as well.”
