New South Wales has recorded 236 new cases of COVID-19 overnight and an additional three deaths.

Of the state’s active cases, 343 people are currently in hospital and 81 are in intensive care.

Meanwhile, 93.5 per cent of residents have received one dose and 87 per cent are double dosed.

It comes as the NSW government ponders a move to delay the easing of restrictions for unvaccinated residents.
