Western Australia police are responding to more than 200 sightings of missing Perth girl Cleo Smith almost two weeks after the four year old vanished from her family tent at the Blowholes campground in Macleod.

The lead investigator on the case joined police at the site in Carnarvon on Thursday to assist operations.

The Australian Federal Police also pledged a plane and “advanced capabilities” to bolster search efforts.

Superintendent Rod Wilde has revealed people from right across the country have reported seeing the girl.
