Gray Television White House correspondent Jon Decker says climate will not be the focus of the G20 meeting ahead of the COP26 Climate Conference.

“Climate’s going to be the big focus of what happens in Glasgow, here in Rome the focus is a number of things,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“First of all, the supply chain issues we’re not only dealing with in the US – you’re dealing with it in Australia, in fact it’s a worldwide global problem so that’s one of the issues on the agenda.”

Mr Decker said US President Joe Biden will meet with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier to discuss “ongoing efforts to get Iran back into the Iran nuclear deal”.

He said President Biden was also going to meet with Pope Francis while in Rome.
