Supply chain disruptions continue to cause serious problems for Australian companies, according to Sky News business reporter Edward Boyd.

Woolworths says more than 22,000 of its employees have had to isolate since the Delta outbreak began.

In their quarterly sales update, Woolworths says 1,500 of their shops have been deemed exposure sites since the pandemic began and has been the toughest quarter since the pandemic began.

Sales, however, rose eight per cent in the last quarter as people are still shopping for groceries.
