Fully vaccinated Australians will no longer have to apply for an exemption to leave the country with the changes to start from Monday.

Australians will be able to book a flight and won’t have to seek approval from the federal government to do so.

Health Minister Greg Hunt approved the changes last night.

This comes as Singapore announced it is opening a quarantine-free travel corridor with Australia, with flights to initially go to Melbourne and Sydney.

This will be in effect from November 8.
