The state is on track to hit 80 per cent double-dose vaccination coverage by the end of the weekend, signifying the further easing of restrictions on October 18.
Deputy Premier Paul Toole told 2GB’s Ben Fordham on Friday morning regional travel has been pushed back again to November 1.
The confirmation came as the NSW government announced residents can now easily prove they have rolled up their sleeves for two doses of a coronavirus jab through the Service NSW app.
The fully vaccinated can upload their COVID-19 vaccine certificate to the app, in a move that will make life easier for both residents and businesses.
