Independent Senator Jacqui Lambie says the Coalition should have sorted out its net zero emissions target a long time ago.
It comes as divisions have occurred, with some Nationals resisting Scott Morrison’s 2050 net zero plan.
“Are they not listening to the elections out there where 75 to 80 per cent of them want that reduction as soon as possible?”, Ms Lambie told Sky News Australia.
“And those two are catfighting between themselves.
“They’ve played this really badly, we’ve had COVID going on, they could have easily gone to the table and sorted this out a long time ago … and they just have not done that.”
