The New South Wales government has announced grants of up to $20,000 for small and medium size businesses if they are affected by future restrictions.
As the state begins to live with COVID-19 – the government hasn’t ruled out the return of localised lockdowns.
A stock guarantee will be made available to businesses with an annual turnover between $75,000 and $50 million.
Up to $20,000 can be claimed for the loss of perishables – such as flowers and food – and $10,000 for non-perishable items.
Under the support package businesses will also be able to claim up to $2,000 in fees and charges rebates – including licensing fees, council rates and tolls.
The scheme will be available until June 2022.
