Northern Territory workers could soon be required to get vaccinated as part of Chief Minister Michael Gunner’s plan to boost the territory’s sluggish vaccination rate.

Sky News understands all workers in the territory in contact with “vulnerable people” will be subject to a vaccine mandate as just 68.7 per cent of residents have received just one dose of the jab.

The government is also expected to announce further changes its border policy having previously flagged the possibility of allowing fully vaccinated people entering the territory to quarantine at home.
