6PR broadcaster Oliver Peterson says the “JobKeeper hangover” needs to be resolved after it was revealed billions of dollars went to businesses which did reasonably well and even thrived during the pandemic.

The Age is reporting up to $27 billion of the $89 billion of the JobKeeper program went to businesses which did not end up suffering as much as they feared from COVID-19 lockdowns.

“Josh Frydenberg, he’s a pretty reasonable treasurer, I think he’s got to come out and resolve it,” he said.
