The Herald Sun’s Suzan Delibasic says parents were “absolutely furious” about the way political bias was brought into an English test at a Victorian high school.
It comes after year nine students at Koo Wee Rup Secondary College were asked to find the persuasive technique in a statement slamming the Morrison government’s handling of the vaccine rollout as part of the test.
“Scott Morrison and his useless Liberal government have let down Australians by not making sure the vaccine is available to us in 2021,” the statement read.
“One parent said they were so furious it was infiltrating left ideas in the classroom,” Ms Delibasic told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“I had several emails from parents expressing disappointment when the story came out saying they had also seen similar things on English tests in their state schools and they said that there’s no place for this in the classroom.”
