Actor George Clooney has told BBC’s Andrew Marr he doesn’t see himself going into politics because he’d like to “have a nice life”.
“In 20 years ill be 80 and that’s a real number, doesn’t matter how much you work out doesn’t matter what you eat – you’re 80,” he said.
“We have to make sure we enjoy and live these years in the best possible way.”
George Clooney, who is good friends with Joe Biden, also discussed the president’s recent poor poll numbers.
An October poll carried out by Quinnipiac found a majority of those surveyed – 55 per cent – don’t think the Biden administration is competent of running the government.
President Biden’s overall approval rating scored a negative 38-53 which is the lowest he’s had since taking office.
Mr Clooney said just like the Trump administration, the “poll numbers come up and go down”.
“There’s a lot of things that have to be repaired,” he said.
“There’s a lot of healing that has to happen and it’s going to take time.”
