NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet is pleading for patience and kindness as hospitality venues in Greater Sydney prepare to open to the fully vaccinated after 106 days in lockdown.

Mr Perrottet toured the Marsden Brewhouse in western Sydney ahead of the reopening where he was joined by Health Minister Brad Hazzard in helping to move beer kegs into a cool room.

The Premier was even sprayed in the face with beer while he had a go at tapping a keg.

It comes as New South Wales recorded 477 new local COVID cases – the lowest daily number since August 17.
