NSW Health’s Dr Jeremy McAnulty says New South Wales has recorded 477 new local COVID cases and six deaths related to the outbreak.

“Sadly, we are reporting the deaths of six … men who had COVID-19,” he said.

“One of the men was from western Sydney, two from south-western Sydney, two from southern NSW and one from south-eastern Sydney.

“Five were not vaccinated and one had received one dose of vaccine.”
