NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet says the criticism of his faith and family is “kind of part and parcel of the job”.

“Obviously my faith is important to me, and I think most people across the state respect people’s backgrounds,” Mr Perrottet told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“I think that’s one of the great aspects of our state – its richness comes from its diversity.

“And we have many people of faiths, of cultural backgrounds and that’s a positive thing.”
