US President Joe Biden has refused to take questions from reporters about America’s underwhelming job figures for the month of September.
The Biden administration has been rocked by a lower-than-expected jobs report with only 194,000 new jobs created.
That is despite the Dow Jones estimating that 500,000 would be created over the month.
It was the second consecutive month of bad figures, with only 366,000 new jobs added in August, after predictions of 720,000.
Republicans said the poor figures show the Biden administration’s economic agenda is not working.
