Victorian Disability, Ageing and Carers Minister Luke Donnellan says yesterday state hubs administered 36,672 vaccines to eligible residents.
“And many more thousands were administered by GPs and community pharmacies,” Mr Donnellan said at a media conference on Thursday.
Mr Donnellan also said 84.4 per cent of people over 16 years of age have now received their first dose And 55 per cent have received their second dose.
“Between state clinics, GPs and pharmacies, there’s every likelihood that you can book a first dose of the appointment
“So if you haven’t had your first dose, please go and do it for the benefit of everybody in our community.”
Mr Donnellan also announced a $5 million boost to vaccination rates amongst people living with a disability.
Victoria recorded 1,638 COVID-19 cases and two deaths.
