NSW could see changes to its roadmap to reopening, after the state reached its 70 per cent fully vaccinated target.

Crisis cabinet met on Wednesday night to discuss potential changes.

While Monday October 11 is still set to be the day the state reopens, changes which have been flagged include swimming pools opening earlier, adjustments to return to school dates and changes to mask-wearing.

The state recorded 594 cases on Wednesday, its lowest daily case load since mid-August.
