It appears a new allergy guide will provide a “common sense approach” to bans on foods like nuts in schools, says Herald Sun journalist Caleb Bond.

The Herald Sun is reporting the new National Allergy Strategy – which is to set be released on Thursday – could see the bans on nuts come to an end, with experts warning the blanket bans do not work.

“Long may children be able to take peanut butter sandwich to school in their lunchbox,” he said.
