The NSW Nationals will vote on a new party leader and deputy premier this morning after John Barilaro resigned on Monday.

Government sources have told News Corp that Deputy Leader Paul Toole is likely to have the numbers to take the role over Water Minister Melinda Pavey.

Meanwhile, Mental Health Minister Bronnie Taylor is running unopposed for the role of deputy leader.

The vote is set to take place at 10am.
