Western Australia’s Premier Mark McGowan has called out Premier Dominic Perrottet over his speech on GST reform – describing his New South Wales counterpart as a ‘whinger’.
The newly sworn-in NSW Premier is known for his push towards a higher GST deal – claiming the state has a disadvantage under the current system.
Last month, he labelled Mr McGowan as the ‘Gollum of Australian politics’ after WA posted a $5.8 billion budget surplus.
Mr Perrottet claims he will fight for a better GST for the state of NSW.
Mr McGowan called out the Premier, declaring NSW as ‘poor financial managers’ – claiming it has ‘massive deficits and massive debt’.
He says instead of looking in the mirror, they look to blame WA.
