Sky News host Chris Kenny says it would be tragic for the English team to pull out of the Ashes cricket in Australia.
“The thing is that it would be our fault; the Poms are worried about our quarantine arrangements and travel restrictions both nationally and internally,” Mr Kenny said.
“The Poms should all be given special permission to come in, with their families, and at worst perhaps quarantine for seven days together, at a resort or some such, then that’s it.
“If that is too much for the recalcitrant states to handle … then as long as we’ve got the border open between NSW and Victoria we can have all the tests in those two states.
“South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland can suffer in their splendid isolation.”
