Nationals MP Bronnie Taylor says she has not ruled out at an opportunity to run as either deputy or leader of the NSW Nationals Party.
It comes as outgoing deputy premier and Nationals leader John Barilaro announced his resignation from politics altogether on Monday.
“I said in the Upper House the option for me to be leader is not there but the option for me to run as deputy leader would be.
“What happens beyond that with the seat of Monaro, with the leadership team, is a matter for my colleagues – I owe them that respect to discuss that with them before I discuss that publicly.”
Ms Taylor said “you don’t rule anything out” though.
