Not “a whole lot” hinges on Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s attendance at the COP26 Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, according to Liberal MP Dave Sharma.

“I think the important thing is to make the commitment consistent with Australia’s national interests, and our own economic and security interests, and what our allies and partners are doing,” Mr Sharma told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“The exact form that takes, and whether the Prime Minister goes or not – I don’t think it matters a great deal.”
