Prime Minister Scott Morrison will be “like a shag on a rock” after the resignation of NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, who was an ardent supporter of the national reopening plan, according to Sky News host Chris Smith.
“It’s been Scott Morrison and the NSW Premier, who’ve been pushing other leaders to keep borders open and avoid lockdowns,” Mr Smith said.
“The challenge currently, is to bring all States and Territories together, in reopening.
“With Gladys out of the conversation, the PM will now have to rely on Chairman Dan to bring the country together.
“The odds of that happening before Christmas are now a little longer without his NSW ally.”
