Classique Legend blitzed the trial field for The Everest and put doubts about his performance to rest, according to Racing NSW Form Analyst Brad Gray.

“He gave us all a reminder there about what he’s capable of, didn’t he smoke to the line, he looked very good,” he said.

Mr Gray said it was too soon to tell how Classique Legend, who won last year’s Everest race, would perform this year but will “have a big say in the finish” if the horse returns to form.
