ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr says there have been 16 new local COVID-19 cases recorded in the territory.

Mr Barr said seven of the cases were linked, while the remainder are still under investigation.

“So far, none of today’s cases were in quarantine during their entire infectious period,” Mr Barr said at a media conference on Thursday.
