Education Minister Alan Tudge says the Labor Party has made “another attack” on Christian and other religious schools.

It comes as the Victorian government has put forward new anti-discrimination legislation which will ban religious schools from sacking or refusing to employ teachers on the basis of their sexuality or gender identity.

“I think we should call this out for what it is,” Mr Tudge told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“And that is another attack by the Labor Party on Christian and other religious schools.

“The Labor Party’s got form on this.”
