NSW Digital and Customer Service Minister Victor Dominello has revealed he is speaking to his Victorian counterpart about making each state’s COVID-19 app “at least mutually recognised”.

“Our states are obviously going to be joined a bit now given our projections,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“If I go down to Victoria for a holiday, or a Victorian comes up to New South Wales for a holiday, I don’t want to download my Victorian app and neither should they download the New South Wales app.

“I should be able to use my New South Wales app down there.”
