Sky News host Paul Murray says the “hopes of many” people on the ground who still want to be saved left with the last American plane out of Afghanistan.
“However, Joe Biden didn’t say word about this today, instead it was his secretary of state who was giving the speeches today,” he said.
Mr Murray said while US Secretary of State Antony Blinken listed a collection of countries who helped in the evacuations, he “forgot” to mention Australia.
“Now in fairness, we’re not part of the G7 but there were other countries that were spoken to,” he said.
“Way to take care of an ally, a special relationship, an alliance … thank you Joe Biden.”
