The ACT’s lockdown has been extended by a further two weeks as 13 new cases emerged.

Chief Minister Andrew Barr said seven of the new cases are “linked to current exposure sites or identified close contacts and six are under investigation”.

He said at least eight of the new cases were infectious in the community.

The lockdown is scheduled to end at midnight, Friday September 17.
