NSW Health Deputy Secretary Susan Pearce says the age range for vaccination eligibility within the LGAs of concern has been extended to 16-49 years.
“We can announce today that we’re extending the age range for 16–49-year-old people across those LGAs to enable people 40-49 who have not previously had an opportunity to get a vaccination in those LGAs to be vaccinated,” Ms Pearce said.
Ms Pearce also said grocery and meat workers who live outside the LGAs of concern but work within them have been added to the vaccination booking site link, which will be in effect from midday today.
She also said Camden has been added as an eligible LGA for the purpose of vaccination.
“We’ve added Camden as an LGA for the purposes of vaccination as part of this program as a proactive strategy to assist in vaccinating that community as we have done with other communities that surround the LGAs the past week.”
