Deputy Labor leader Richard Marles says in the aftermath of the Kabul twin bomb attacks, those who remain behind need to be prioritised.
Mr Marles said there is “just grief, really, for those who perished in what is an appalling set of attacks”.
“We’ve made our critique of the government, in relation to the handling of this, and that critique stands,” he told Sky News Australia.
“I feel, to be honest, in the aftermath of the tragedy of last night, it’s probably not the time and place to pursue that critique of the government.
“There’ll be time enough to do that.”
