Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says there has been a “clean sweep” of executives and directors at Crown, as they attempt to hold onto their Casino licenses in other states, such as NSW.

It comes as Friday was the last day for Crown Chairman Helen Coonan because she was deemed by the Victorian Royal Commission as an “unsuitable person” to be the chair of Crown.

Ziggy Switkowski is set to replace Ms Coonan as the new Crown chairman, however, he can’t begin until he passes the probity checks with the casino gaming authorities.

“There’s been a clean sweep of directors and executives right through the ranks at Crown to try and hang onto those Casino licenses,” Mr Greenwood said.
