Premier Gladys Berejiklian will today reveal her plans for New South Wales students to safely return to school.

Sky News understands the year 12 HSC will be delayed until November but will still go ahead and grades six, 11, and kindergarten could return in mid-October.

NSW Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant has previously indicated children aged 12 to 15 could be vaccinated this year.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration has already approved the use of Pfizer for those 12 and up.
